Courtney has built a long-standing relationship with SNPJ, beginning her association by taking part in the Circle 19 annual Christmas productions and bowling in the Bantam Bowling League. As the years passed, she regularly participated in seasonal activities, shows, and numerous field trips. She was a member of the bowling league for 14 years, participated annually in the SNPJ Family Twosome and Youth Telegraphic Bowling Tournaments, assisted at Circle fund-raisers and contributed to The Voice of  Youth and PROSVETA.  For three years she served as  Circle 19  president. Courtney was a contestant in the 2002 Miss SNPJ Pageant, at which she was awarded the 2003 Miss Activity title. In recognition of her accomplishments, Courtney was honored with the dedication of the 2002 Youth Circle 19 Christmas Pageant.

Courtney believes the Slovene National Benefit Society has been a developmental force in her life, and she is truly proud to be an SNPJ member. The many experiences that she has had as a participant in SNPJ Youth Circle 19 and Lodge 138, and when representing the Society as Miss SNPJ during SNPJ’s 100th anniversary, have enriched her life and helped her to become the young adult she is today.

Courtney had the privilege of participating in the two-week 2005 Slovenia summer tour sponsored by the University of Ljublijana. The trip taught her a lot about her heritage.
Courtney is a 2002 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and is currently working at Pro-Adjuster Chiropractic Clinic as a chiropractic assistant.
